“Knowledge speaks…wisdom listens.”
Birth is a Rite of Passage that in the end not only births a new baby, but births new parents as well. I believe in the sanctity of the process and believe that every woman through research and introspection can have and serves an empowering birth. As an educator, my role is to journey with you and help you discover tools that you already have and help you build upon those skills. As a Birth doula, my role is to support your choices regarding your pregnancy and birth plan. Your birth is all about you and your families needs.

Kristie Godfrey
Expecting a baby is such an exciting time. My philosophy of birth is that it is YOUR birth. I believe you have more choices in birth than you may have been initially presented with, and I am here to make sure you have the information to make the choices that are best for you. I truly believe in the women to women support. In both of my homebirths I found that support invaluable. Please feel free to contact me anytime to answer questions and discuss your birth wishes. I am available for both home and hospital births. I look forward to the opportunity to assist you in having the birth you desire.

Tiffanie Gonzales
I became a doula because I wanted other women to know what a great experience it could be for them. I love mothering women during that time. I want to empower women to know that they have choices during their labor. I will help with birth plans whether it is home births or hospital. I will offer support in whatever setting. I offer kind words, gentle touch, comfort measures, massage, music, photography (if I am not too busy with a mom), counter pressure, and anything that a mom needs.

Jennifer Neschke
My aim is to help women empower themselves the way my own birth experiences have empowered me!
Research has shown that having a doula at your birth reduces your chances of needing medical interventions such as induction, augmentation, and Cesarean. Having a doula’s support also takes some of the pressure off of your partner, and allows him/her to enjoy the birth, rather than worrying if they are doing the right thing.

Marcie Thomas
Marcie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice as a doula. Inspired by the births of her granddaughters not being the kind of birthing experience she thought her daughters deserved, she became a doula to help give her family the best birth experience possible.
Friends and others soon followed and she is thrilled to be a part of many birth experiences both hospital and home births. Being an advocate for mothers, fathers and new little ones during the birthing experience is one of her most favorite things and among her most cherished life experiences.
